Introduction
Reply What? (“the App”) is an AI-powered communication assistant designed to help users analyze conversations and generate reply suggestions for dating, relationships, work, networking, and everyday messaging.
We take user privacy seriously and aim to collect and process the minimum amount of information necessary to provide the App’s functionality.
Information You Provide
When using the App, you may enter or paste conversation text, messages, or other communication content for analysis.
This information is processed solely to generate insights, suggestions, and communication guidance within the App.
How Your Data Is Processed
To provide AI-powered analysis and reply suggestions, conversation content entered into the App may be securely transmitted to Google’s Gemini API services.
The content is processed for the purpose of:
- Generating reply suggestions
- Analyzing conversational context
- Identifying communication patterns
- Providing coaching and communication insights
Remote Storage
Reply What? does not operate its own servers or databases for storing conversation content.
Conversation text submitted for analysis is processed in real time and is not stored by us on any external database.
Local Storage
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
- Saved conversations
- Analysis history
- User preferences
- Selected coaching modes
- Selected tone settings
- Onboarding preferences
This information remains on your device and can be removed at any time using the App’s data-clearing features.
Analytics and Advertising
Reply What? does not currently use:
- Advertising networks
- Third-party tracking software
- Behavioural profiling systems
- Marketing analytics platforms
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Security
All communications between the App and third-party services are transmitted using industry-standard encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
While we take reasonable measures to protect information, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Third-Party Services
Reply What? may rely on third-party services, including:
Google Gemini API
Conversation content may be processed by Google’s Gemini AI services to provide the App’s core functionality.
Google’s handling of data is governed by Google’s own policies and terms.
Children’s Privacy
Reply What? is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
Your Rights
You may:
- Delete locally stored conversation history
- Clear saved analyses
- Remove stored preferences
- Stop using the App at any time
Because conversation history is stored locally on your device, you have direct control over the removal of this information.
